There Are 2 Things You Need to Check Before Calculating Your Marriage Year, Friends:
1. You must know your rising sign along with its degree. For this, your time of birth must be accurate down to the minute.
2. You need to check whether your chart contains the promise of marriage. Not everyone’s chart includes a “marriage task.” First, you can find out (or have someone find out) whether you are destined to get married using certain techniques, and determine whether this is part of your life path.
Once you’ve verified these two things, we can move on to the main topic.
JUPITER and VENUS

The 7th house in our chart, among other meanings, represents our marriage area.
STEPS
- Identify which zodiac sign starts this house. (What is your DSC point?)
- Look at which planet rules this sign. (For example, if your 7th house is in Cancer, its ruler is “the Moon.”)
- After finding the ruling planet of your 7th house, determine which house this planet is located in.
(For example: 7th house in Libra → Ruling planet is Venus → Venus is in the 11th house)
Once you’ve determined these, you can begin the year calculation.
- Look at the current signs that transiting Jupiter and Venus are in.
Currently, Venus and Jupiter are in Taurus. On May 25, Jupiter transitions into Gemini.
At the end of this post, you’ll find Jupiter’s sign transitions up to the year 2030, so you can calculate the possible marriage year based on your own chart.
One Possible Indicator:
When transiting Jupiter passes over your 7th house, you may meet someone you will merge your life with, start a relationship, or if you’ve already met, this transit could indicate the time of marriage.
The same can happen when Jupiter transits your 4th house. The 4th house represents your root family and the subconscious patterns you inherited from there, which influence the home you will build in the future.
The structure of your marriage can be seen in the 7th house, while your “married, happy, with kids” family life is reflected in the 4th house.
Some charts indicate marriage through a 4th house emphasis, others through a 7th house emphasis—so don’t forget this detail. Also, in non-retrograde Venus years, a Venus transit through the 4th/7th house can also point to a marriage year.
However, for a happy and lasting marriage, during these transits, both Jupiter and Venus should not be forming harsh aspects to malefic planets in your chart (like Mars, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto).
Jupiter brings commitment, abundance, and blessings to the house it transits.
Venus signifies the emotional and financial investments people make in each other.
So both play a key role in determining marriage years.
SATURN CALCULATION
From the moment we are born, our Saturn cycle begins and acts as a timer in the fated areas of our life.
Between the ages of 27–30 (varies by person), when Saturn returns to its natal position, we complete our first Saturn return. This marks a time where, if married, we may have children; if not, other indicators may suggest that marriage is approaching. It can also signal times of buying property, starting a business, or in short, taking root.
(I will give a current example at the end.)
Other Marriage Timing Indicators
We don’t all get married just because Jupiter is transiting our 7th house. Some of us meet our future spouses when Jupiter transits the 2nd/4th/5th/7th houses.
So how do we calculate marriage in that case?
Remember at the beginning I asked you to check which house the ruler of your 7th house is in?
Here’s why: When transiting Jupiter crosses over that ruler planet, this conjunction may signal your marriage year.
Example:
7th house is in Libra → Ruler is Venus → Venus is in the 5th house in Leo.
Then, during the Jupiter in Leo period, the person might get married.
So in this case, from June 2026 onwards, the person could enter a marriage phase.

- June 9, 2025 – Jupiter enters Cancer
- June 30, 2026 – Jupiter enters Leo
- July 26, 2027 – Jupiter enters Virgo
- August 24, 2028 – Jupiter enters Libra
- June 24, 2029 – Jupiter enters Scorpio
- October 22, 2030 – Jupiter enters Sagittarius
